You are on a sports team with some friends. One of the players, Ron, is not as good as some of the other players and sometimes makes mistakes that hurt the team. He has not been playing the sport long but tries hard and wants to win but has much to learn.

In today’s game, Ron was in a position to make a play in a close game that would win for your team but he made a mistake and your team went on to lose.

Some of your friends were calling him names and blaming the loss on him. Ron is not a close friend but you know he did not mean to make the mistake. What should you do?

Fred’s mother and father were getting ready to go to dinner. His big sister was home and would be watching him. Before they left, Fred’s parents told him to make up his bed and clean his clothes off of the floor before bedtime. After they left, Fred started playing his new Playstation game and lost track of time.

After the dinner, Fred’s mother called on the phone to tell him good night. She asked him if he cleaned his room. If he said yes he would not get in trouble but would be lying. He thought, “I can clean it up really quick before they come home.”

What do you think he should do?

One day while walking through a store you see a toy that you have been wanting for a long time but you do not have enough money to buy it.  Later that night you see your dad’s wallet laying on a table.  Inside is $20, more than enough to buy that toy.  You think to yourself, “Dad has a lot of money, he won’t miss it.”

Your best friend Jeremy is worried.  Today is a big math test and he did not study last night because he had a baseball game and just didn’t feel like studying when he got home.  He is really happy because you sit beside him in school.  He wants you to write your answers bigger than you usually do and tilt your paper to where he can see your answers so he can copy them.

You don’t want Jeremy to get a bad grade.  After all, he’s the one cheating on the test, not you.  Yet you feel deep inside that this attitude is wrong.
