This lesson was originally presented at the 2016 Florida College Alabama Camp. It reflects on the camp’s theme song: “Just As I Am, I Come Broken.”
This song is a beautiful adaptation of a classic hymn (a religious song of praise to God). It expresses the heart of someone who approaches God exactly as they are—broken and hurting—seeking healing and spiritual transformation (a complete change in character for the better).
