You are playing on a sports team with some of your friends. One of your teammates, Ron, is not as skilled as the other players. He often makes mistakes that cost the team points.
Ron is relatively new to the sport, but he works hard and has a strong desire to win. He simply has a lot to learn.
The Big Play
In today’s game, the score was very close. In the final moments, Ron was in a key position to make a play that would win the game for your team. Unfortunately, he made a mistake, and your team lost.
After the game, some of your friends started calling Ron names and blaming the entire loss on him.
While Ron is not a close friend of yours, you know he did his best and did not mean to make the mistake.
