Copying Bible Lesson

Jeanie is feeling very frustrated this Sunday morning.

Every night, she takes time to read a little bit of her Bible class lesson and the related scriptures. On Saturday, she carefully answers the questions in her student workbook. She wants to be fully prepared for class so she can participate in the discussion and ask questions about things she didn’t understand during her personal study.

Leslie is in the same Bible class. Every Sunday morning, Leslie walks in and immediately asks to borrow Jeanie’s workbook. She then copies Jeanie’s answers word-for-word into her own book.

Sometimes, when Leslie is running late, she will grab Jeanie’s book during class just to read the answers out loud. In fact, during one class, five different people read answers directly from Jeanie’s workbook!

This situation leaves Jeanie feeling taken advantage of, while Leslie is avoiding doing her own study.
