Growing up, I regularly attended Bible classes and worship services. Even though I knew individual stories were related, I did not understand how the whole book fit together from beginning to end until I was in college.

When you see the overarching story of the Bible, it changes everything. It helps you understand and appreciate the incredible things God has done for us throughout history.

The Story of Salvation

My friend Ken Craig wrote a book called The Big Picture of the Bible to explain this great theme of salvation (deliverance from sin). It is a short but powerful book. It will help you connect the Old and New Testaments, pointing out important connections and symbols that people often overlook.
